Description
**Please note: This is NOT a guided tour. If you’re looking for a narrated experience with a certified guide, please check the Guided Tours page.** Explore the Black Canyon with a fully equipped kayak rental, launched right from the beach at Willow Beach Designated Paddlecraft Launch Area. Paddle up to your heart's content, stop at scenic beaches, and enjoy a peaceful, self-paced experience. Rentals are available from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Kayaks must be returned by 3:00 PM. We recommend starting early if you plan to reach Emerald Cave. Most guests complete the roundtrip in 3 to 3.5 hours (4.8–5.6 km), making a 4-hour rental more than enough time to enjoy the scenery and return safely. Pricing is per person. Guests may choose a single or tandem kayak at no extra charge. Tandem kayaks are recommended to conserve energy and allow for shared paddling. **Please note: This is NOT a GUIDED TOUR. If you’re looking for a narrated experience with a certified guide, please return to our main Guided Tours page.** **Rental rates are per person, not per kayak. Rentals must be used by the same guest for the full duration. No sharing, swapping, or transferring between guests is permitted. A tandem kayak is for two paying guests sharing one kayak. Each guest must have a paid reservation and be listed on the official manifest.** Important: Entry to Lake Mead National Recreation Area requires a separate park fee. The cost is $25 per vehicle, valid for 7 days. U.S. citizens and permanent residents age 62+ may purchase a senior pass ($20 annual or $80 lifetime), and active or retired members of the U.S. military receive free entry along with everyone in their vehicle (must present valid I.D.) To make it simple: Imagine going to a restaurant inside a shopping mall. You pay the mall for parking (their fee), and you pay the restaurant for your meal (our tour). We don’t control the parking fee, just like we don’t control the National Park entry fee. The park fee goes directly to the U.S. government, not to us. ***All guests are required to complete an online waiver before participating. A link will be sent by email after booking, and each person in your group must complete their own waiver. If you do not receive the email link, you can also contact the activity provider***Includes
