Description

Sunset Tour: Less than an hour away from Las Vegas: Meet your guide and get set up with a kayak, paddles, and a life jacket. Enjoy a tour that includes a short training session, making this tour suitable for beginners. Launch into Willow Beach's turquoise and emerald waters and begin your adventure on the Colorado River. Embark on our tour just a few hours before Sunset. We will see the cave and the other Emerald Cave, and take our time to see some of the amazing history of the river. The tour guide will set up a campfire with chairs, all utensils, and s'mores. We'll watch the sunset and get ready to look up at the true SHOW. When the stars of the Milky Way come out to shine! We'll paddle back under the stars. Our guide will help you paddle through the Colorado River's inertia. Take in the beauty of the steep canyon with rugged walls, keeping an eye out for local wildlife along the way. Reach Emerald Cave, a small notch in the Colorado River canyon wall where the lighting creates an otherworldly color. Enter the cave and have the chance to snap some photos. We'll then see the Gaugers Shack, which is still built on the other side of the river. Continue along the river, soaking up views of desert terrain. Stop along the way for a quick 5-10 minute hike leading to 1920s stone foundation of a river gouger's home, offering a peak into the area's past and some gorgeous views of the area. Peer into waters stocked with rainbow trout weekly as you paddle by the Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery. Try to glimpse these silver fish as they swim through the emerald waters. Bring along your own snacks or a picnic to enjoy during your stop at a stunning beach in Emerald Cove before paddling back to the Willow Beach Marina. Return your gear and end your experience with unforgettable memories of this unique area.
