Description
Discover over two billion years of geological history shaped by the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon's expansive ravines. This national park features colorful rock layers that reveal the geologic past of the American Southwest.
Sunrise and sunset at the canyon create vibrant color displays on the canyon walls. The tour includes ranger talks, helicopter flight options, visits to sunrise and sunset viewpoints, wildlife observation, and photography opportunities.
The itinerary begins with a stop at Hoover Dam for photos, followed by a visit to Historic Route 66. A brief stop in Williams, known for the Grand Canyon Railway, leads to the canyon area.
At the Grand Canyon, you can choose to take a helicopter flight, hike along the rim or into the canyon, or relax at rim-side cafes. Evening accommodation is in the town of Tusayan, with options to dine locally or unwind by a campfire.
The second day offers options for longer hikes, including a half-day or full-day trek into the canyon or along the rim. An optional tour to Desert View on the East Rim is included. Ranger programs and photo opportunities continue until returning to Las Vegas around 7:00 PM.
