This is the most comprehensive one-day kayaking and hiking expedition launching from the restricted base of Hoover Dam—accessible only through authorized tours. Paddle 12 miles downstream on the Colorado River guided by Wilderness First Aid certified instructors who provide on-water coaching for all skill levels.
Instructors serve as personal photographers, capturing over 300 high-quality photos and videos included free of charge. Explore six natural hot springs, nine caves including the glowing Emerald Cave, and geothermal waterfalls such as Lone Palm Falls and Goldstrike Hot Springs. Optional slot canyon hikes and rope climbs offer additional challenges for advanced adventurers.
The tour meets at Willow Beach, allowing participants to drive independently, avoid shuttle crowds, and return to Las Vegas on their own schedule. The experience includes a healthy packed lunch, unlimited ice water, premium kayaking gear, and access to the full professional photo gallery.

Excludes
- Entry fee to Willow Beach (National Parks Pass required or $25 per car); tour generally arrives before pay station opens to avoid fee
- Non-refundable Hoover Dam launch permits (must be booked at least two weeks in advance)
- Bring government-issued ID or passport for National Park Service checks at Hoover Dam Lodge
- Personal water supply recommended (at least 3 liters per person); ice water is provided on tour but additional hydration is necessary, especially in summer
- Guide tipping is recommended ($40–$60 per person is typical)
