Depart Las Vegas for Valley of Fire State Park, covering 40,000 acres of vivid red Aztec sandstone set against gray and tan limestone. The area contains petrified trees and petroglyphs dating back over 2,000 years.

Visit Beehive Rock to capture its unique textures, then proceed to Atlatl Rock to see petroglyphs estimated to be 2,000 to 4,000 years old. Learn about the park’s geology and history at the Valley of Fire Visitor Center, where souvenirs are also available.

Next, visit Rainbow Vista for views of multicolored rock formations. At Fire Canyon, photograph the contrasting landscape of red rocks and desert surroundings.

Lunch is served deli-style at Seven Sisters, allowing guests to dine outdoors while enjoying the park’s natural beauty.

After lunch, explore Elephant Rock, a formation resembling an elephant. Hike to the designated photo point to frame this unique shape. The tour concludes with a hike to Fire Wave, known for its striped sandstone patterns and colors.

Return to Las Vegas with photographs and experiences from the park. Note that from May to September, the Fire Wave Trail and other hiking routes may be closed for safety; guides adjust the itinerary accordingly based on weather and guest fitness.
