The Grand Canyon West Rim helicopter tour departs from the Grand Canyon Western Ranch Heliport, a two-hour drive from Las Vegas. This affordable and scenic 25-minute flight offers an immersive way to experience the Grand Canyon beyond typical viewpoints.
After takeoff, the flight passes over the high Mojave Desert, including the ancient Joshua Tree Forest and rock formations like Spirit Mountain and the Grand Wash Cliffs. The helicopter then descends 1,500 feet below the West Rim, providing an exclusive perspective within the Canyon itself.
The tour covers over 15 miles flying above and below the Canyon, tracing the Colorado River and cruising alongside rock formations dating back millions of years.
