The Goldstrike Hot Springs and Slot Canyon Adventure is a strenuous 6-mile hike near Las Vegas suitable for experienced hikers seeking adventure and natural hot springs.
Description
This hike features slot canyon exploration, four rope climbs, geothermal waterfalls, and natural hot spring pools located just minutes from Hoover Dam. The route includes access to multiple rain caves, a 140-foot deep hidden cave system, and the unique Sauna Cave with warm water steaming inside the canyon walls.
Participants will experience a blend of desert exploration, waterfalls, rope climbs, and natural hot springs with temperatures ranging from 98°F to 120°F across different pools. The hike ends with views of a rare 500-foot horizontal waterfall.
The tour supports small groups and couples, including those with varying confidence levels in rope descents, offering professional guides and safety equipment to ensure a secure experience.
Additional full-day kayak tours are available to Boyscout Canyon, Arizona Hot Springs, and other stops along the Colorado River, including optional small boat access to Sauna Cave.

Important Information
- This is a strenuous hike with a 1500-foot elevation climb on the return leg
- Participants must be able to pull up their own body weight on ropes
- Not suitable for children under 12 unless capable of pull-ups
- Not suitable for those afraid of heights or with serious mobility limitations
- Avoid putting your head underwater to prevent exposure to harmful amoebas in stagnant water
