Description
Your hotel pickup begins the excursion to Grand Canyon West. En route, the guide explains Hoover Dam’s construction and shares facts about the Mojave Desert. The bus stops for approximately 20 minutes for breakfast and coffee at a gas station.
The Grand Canyon spans 180 kilometers along Arizona, and this tour covers the west side. The route passes through Dolan Springs, a small western town, and the Joshua Tree Forest, a unique area featuring plants resembling both tree trunks and cacti typical of the Mojave landscape.
At the Grand Canyon, home to the Hualapai Nation, visit two Eagle Point overlooks, including the Skywalk. Then proceed to Guano Point, offering nearly 360-degree panoramic views. Guano Point features caves historically mined for bat guano, which was used as fertilizer.
After exploring the park, lunch is provided at a restaurant within the reservation. The tour returns to Las Vegas, concluding around 4:30–5:00 pm.
