Check out the ice caves in Mount Charleston or go a bit further out for the Black Velvet Cave; both spots offer cool, shady escapes from the desert sun, plus that eerie, quiet underground vibe. Just remember, most caves require guides or permits, so don’t show up expecting a free-for-all adventure.
